Suggest a Spanish story.

Look.. we could sit around guessing what stories you'd actually enjoy reading in Spanish, or we could just ask you directly. Nobody knows what would help you learn better than, well... you.. right?

The rules of the game

Each month, we open up a fresh page for your story ideas and you suggest plots that would help you learn:

  1. Submit your idea in the comments of the current month's page (see below for an example)
  2. Upvote your favorites (because power to the people, right?)
  3. The people's favorites come to life and we develop them into short stories and publish them in the website with all the learning goodies
  4. Winners become official Plot Wizards! If your idea gets the most votes, you'll be inducted into the Plot Wizards Hall of Fame with your name in lights. You'll be credited as the mastermind in the published story itself and on our website. (Yes, you can absolutely put "Certified Plot Wizard" on your resume. Will HR understand it? No. Will it make family gatherings more interesting when you announce, "Pass the salt to the Plot Wizard, please"? Absolutely.)

What makes a great suggestion?

The best story ideas are specific with a clear plot (not just a topic).

For example: "Two friends hiking in the Pyrenees get lost and end up in a tiny village where everyone speaks an ancient dialect of Spanish, and they need to figure out how to get back to civilization."
